I gave up on 70 minutes BT, I couldn't take any more, I don't even know the result, but if either team had managed to score I'd be gobsmacked.

I just saw the incident where Chelsea had a stonewall penalty turned down when the Man Utd numpty of a centre half climbed all over the Chelsea player to head the ball away.

Absolutely straightforward this one. A penalty may be awarded in favour of Manchester United at every possible opportunity. However Maguire having an opponent in a headlock does not constitute a valid reason to award a penalty against Manchester United. Simples.

Even the refereeing fraternity outside of the top levels are wondering about this, who really knows what constitutes a penalty these days?

It would be interesting, and perhaps educational, if the VAR officials had to appear in public to explain their more controversial decisions. I give them the credit for being experienced, competent referees, and as such I really would appreciate knowing just why they allowed Pickford to remain on the pitch, and why a pen wasn't awarded against Slabhead. They must have seen the incidents and yet made two inexplicable decisions, why should we not expect an explanation from them, and I don't mean just us fans, players and management have a right to know just how they're operating as well.
