    Tao Geoghenhart

Who you might ask? This guy from Hackney has just won the Giro d'Italia - three weeks of gruelling cycling. He was totally unfancied and just there to support Geraint Thomas (who crashed out on stage 3). He didn't take the lead until the last stage (stage 21). An awesome achievement by someone who was not expected to win

Yes no mention of him at all.
Sports reporters can be a lazy bunch at times. He must have been getting nearer over the last few days, its not a sprint is it! 3 Weeks.
Still well done to the lad, hope he gets the Credit he deserves

If he was only a support rider for the main team rider...he may not have had any tainting.....

I’ve been following the Giro every day via the Eurosport highlights programme and it has been entertaining from stage 1. It was a superb performance by Geoghegan Hart, especially the last two big mountain stages. Immense credit also to his team mate Rohan Dennis who provided invaluable support, crucially, in the mountains. The Giro is a great race, the scenery is stunning and what made it a real treat for me was that it was a ‘real’ race, unlike the pathetic, one car display that is Formula 1.
