    Jacob Murphy

Really good free kick. Aye, you could argue the 'keeper should have done better but the bend around the wall and the height of the kick was, well...splendid fits the bill, I think.

To answer Jacko's point in the match thread, personally I don't think he's good enough for the Prem. I think he's like Dwight Gayle-a really decent Chimpo player who will, nonetheless, have some good moments in this league but is out of his depth here.

Was interested in what he said on MotD 2, that he'd done a bit of 'homework' last night and worked out that if he put it low and hard to this 'keeper then he'd have a chance. Even then, though, he still had to put it in the right place-which he did so fair play to him. Always comes across a a really canny lad, too. And he supports us.

Maybe he'll become the new James Perch...?

Anyhoo, not much to be positive about at the mo and even this thread is hardly glowing but I thought he deserved a bit of praise.

Totally agree and his smile at the final whistle was nice to see. He might thrive somewhere again if he’s reunited with his twin brother.

He was easily our man of the match,if he can get game time and be consistent then he will be worth keeping.

Certainly worse players he could be, good old Perchino

It was a good free kick and nice to see a player do some homework.

The comparison to Gayle, I think is spot on.

Dwight Gayles record in PL might surprise a few. He has 25 gls in 117 appearances. Of the 117 apps, 50 have been as sub. So starts are 67 to 25 gls.

If he works hard enough, he could become the new Ryan Taylor. But under the wall instead of over the wall
