That's a shame, was looking forward to a local NL derby next season as well

That's one of the main reasons why we struggled for so many years and why we got relegated. That's why the Stags are badly struggling this season and have got worse season on season in recent times.
Obviously it was a stupid decision to sack him and he should have been given at least two years to show his worth.

Or does that principle only work if the manager's name begins with 'A' and ends with 'rdley'?

It’s quite comical/sad how bad all three Nottinghamshire teams have been over the last 3-4 years.

Meanwhile, over the border here in Lincolnshire, Lincoln have enjoyed 4-5 years of pretty much uninterrupted success due to a combination of great management and wise use of resources. It’ll never catch on.

    Why two years?

Or maybe they shouldn't have sacked Flitcroft, because ever since they've got worse and worse when changing managers.

Now where have we seen that before?

Because at least two years is the time you've wanted Ardley to be given to show whether he's up to the job.

Once again that's not true. Use your advanced search facility and type in my username (as you often do) and maybe keywords "one full season" or "at lease" that's what have have continually said about Notts managerial appointments and how long is needed in general to fairly judge a new manager.

As for the specific Ardley situation, it's a little different to when Coughlan joined Mansfield to say the least. Surely even for you, that doesn't need explaining further.

It really is comically bad for the 3 Nottinghamshire teams.

Hope they get Clough. Statistically speaking he has a lower win percentage than our very own NA and a few know who sh1t he is.

It is true, because my comment was clearly specific to Ardley. He was appointed on 23rd November 2018, and you've never wanted him sacked (in fact you might have posted about it occasionally!). You have spoken about reviewing his performance after 10 games this season, so that obviously means you have wanted him to be given at least two years.
