    OT - Bullying

It's not OK. Not at school. Not at work. Not in the home or the pub or the sports field. Not online.

There is much made of the increasing numbers of people suffering with mental health issues caused by the isolation they find themselves in. Please take that into account in all of your communication, everywhere. Your quip, your joke, your "little bit of fun" can have disastrous effects on others.

As my Dad used to say "If ya conna say owt nice, say nowt". Very relevant and good advice in these days of isolation and lockdown.

None of us are Andy. It was born out of 1. The increase in mental health issues 2. a perception that there is an increase in folk on anti-social media having a pop at others for no other reason than their own gratification and 3. I found myself being less tolerant than normal on occasions and I have this weird idea that we should all, especially under the current circumstances, be more accepting of thoughts, points of view etc that differ from our own. Basically freedom of speech tempered by social responsibility.
