That’s £7,000 per fan if you allow for 25,000 fans.

I would suggest there will only be a small % of people financially able to pay that sort of money.

I’d be delighted to stump up my £7k but I think this is a “pie in the sky” dream.

Think there might be a lot of Albion supporters who would chip in ..... and many would donate more than £7k. Problem is where you get the additional funds to invest when you have bought the club ..... unless you do a Glazer and saddle the club with huge debt ... maybe wait until we are in League 1.....

Hit it the head. Going back to the success of Blackburn to the relative success of Middlesbrough, even with fans as Chairmen as soon as they are unable to keep investing in the club year on year then the club is on the slippery slope downwards.

The examples of clubs where non fans own it going on that slippery slope is almost endless.

I remember fan's buying share's in the club once before.
Old Jeremiah bought them off them allegedly by borrowing the clubs money.
He valued the club at around £7m and then sold us for £200m.
It's outrageous what has gone on at our club, but our fan's are so passive they accept it and get excited when the new shirts come out.

Yep remember it well - I was one of those. I think the club now has a bunch of stranded shares - as Lai never bought out 100% .....
