    RIP Nobby. By all accounts a top fella as well. I think that's only 4 of the starting 11 still alive isn't it. Bobby Charlton, George Cohen, Roger Hunt and Geoff Hurst. Sad times.

    Was only 78, no age at all.

    Prostate cancer and advanced dementia - both horrible illnesses.

    Yes, only 4 of starting 11 still alive.

    It's now been announced that Bobby Charlton has dementure.

    As for Nobby Stiles a very tough player,I never saw anyone else stop the great Eusabio from playing but Nobby did it more than once.
