    Tony Pulis

Just heard him on 'Gillette Soccer Saturday' eulogising about the way Leeds United play. How they're always looking to attack and go forward getting the ball into the opposition's penalty area as quickly as possible. He coninued by saying that what impresses him is never mind the result, just continue with this philosophy. Then I think of how he set us up with virtually eleven players behind the ball, playing a back four of six foot plus centre halves and wingers as secon full backs. Why couldn't he have taken that approach with us if that is what impresses him. Defies belief!

The man was a frightened manager.

Any manager who has to put 11 behind the ball has no confidence in his players or in his ability to create.

If you watch the NFL like I do you would see that defensive coaches are being driven out of the game......it’s all about invention and attacking now.

Coaches like Carl Shannahan at the 49ers

and Sean McVay at LA Rams have broken the long established mold and they’re early 30’s.

Tony Pulis, dinosaur, full of s hit, wouldn’t know a forward player if he saw one, just goes to show the depths Sky have sunk to having cretins like him on, plus the Sue Smith woman who clearly hasn’t a clue and bores people to death within seconds.
