Whats happened, abysmal v Leeds and even worse today, I do not want to turn on the lads but come on, utter garbage.
We need a reaction in the 2nd half or this will end up 6 or 7.
Weve now thrown away our superior goal difference and we need to stop the rot next match up. I think the momentum went worth the international break!

Normal service mate, the same management/coaching team, preaching the same gospel to basically the same players. Decent coaches would have seen how we set up this season and worked us out.

Most teams are keeping the ball away from our left (Jack). Really surprised that so-called 'giants of the coaching world (Klopp and Rodgers)' failed to pick up on it.

Even at 1-4 down, with 10 mins to go, we are somehow creating chances.

Time will tell if we can afford to play 2 peacocks in midfield.

I don’t think that we are a bad side, just as I don’t think that we are a good side. We are a mediocre side with a mediocre management team. Our expectations should match what we are, mediocre.

Ok, we have spent a lot of cash, but in truth, we have not bought one ‘top half of the Prem player’. We’ve bought ‘potential’, our management team might be seen to have potential. So all we can reasonably expect is mediocre results, over a season, with the hope of fulfilling potential in the future.

We were sh1t, now we’re mediocre, which is progress. In the future, we’ll be fkin brilliant.

I agree Dave. With the quality of players that we have, we have to be bang at it from the word go. If any of these players have an ok day, we will lose. They’re not collectively good enough to cruise.

It all depends on how good they want to be. Play to their potential, and we should be safe, 12th-14th. Huff and puff for half a match and we’ll have another season like last year.

Another 5 minutes of effort DURING the 96 mins of the match, and we may well have scored again.

Against Leicester for example we were hunting for the ball and playing a high tempo style, didn't see any of that today when they had the ball.

What was Barkley doing so high up the pitch - tactics Deano again?

As good as those goals they scored were, we made life far too easy for them - however, this side is a big improvement on last season and it's good that these setbacks have happened early doors giving time to iron out the issues. We look scared when teams come onto us.

It would seem Cash has been found out a little. Trez was a bit unfortunate to be dropped and seemed to be the Leeds fall guy. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Elmo regain the right back slot against Arsenal. Giving Ward Prowse those free kicks was like giving them penalties he’s that good at them. We don’t have a specialist like that and with the free kicks Jack wins it would be something to think about. Deano said it didn’t feel like a 3-0 at half time and he was right......it should have been 4-0! Got lucky with VAR. We don’t seem to be getting the best out of McGinn either. He goes missing when playing so far back. Not sure how you fix that. Finally not too much quality on the bench for a plan B.
