    Brentford v Swansea

UBrentford v Swansea, Community Stadium, Tues 3 Nov 7pm
The good news is that football continues during the lockdown.
There are two more away matches to come before another International break and they couldn’t be any tougher. The first one is Brentford who beat us recently over two legs in the play-offs.
Since then they’ve sold top scorers Ollie Watkins to Aston Villa and Said Benrahma to West Ham for combined fees of almost £60 million including add-ons. They spent a mere £5 million of that money on striker Ivan Toney from Peterborough and he has already scored 9 goals so far this season
While Brentford were demolishing Luton 0-3 on Saturday, Swansea moved up to second place in the table with a clinical 2-0 win over Blackburn to continue their good run of form.
It will be a defining week for the Swans, with the other away match being the long trip to Norwich on Saturday, and any points from these two games will be a good marker in showing if we are good enough to challenge for promotion this season.

    Ayew 95’ goal disallowed, offside
    FT 1-1
Brentford 1 shot on target = 1 goal
Swansea 5 shots on target = 1 goal
Good draw in my opinion, pity about the offside winner

Unlucky not to win last night, we were the better team.
I was surprised at tonight's result, leaders Reading lost again, at home to Preston this time, who beat everybody away but can't win at home.
