A couple of weeks now to get a few more players fit and teach our defenders to do their jobs more effectively.

It may have been part of our great tactical plan but I noticed that John Buckley made very little effort to get back behind the ball when our attacks broke down?

As you know, I didn't get to see the Boro match, but I could tell this was chalk and cheese!
Nobody had a poor game, which is quite rare.
Buckley still looks as if the wind could blow him over, but he's a technical player. Different position, I know, but he reminds of Craig Conway. Interesting that he came on ahead of Trybull.
I have to say, though, when they equalised, I thought we were going to pay for the first-half missed chances again.
A hell of a relief when AA got the second. After the third, I confess to going back to bed with a tot of whiskey - purely to help me sleep.
