Poor sod!
Looks like he is the next Stags manager.
Poor sod!
Saw this video of his dad a few days ago that I hadn't seen before, talking about Maxwell and Murdoch.....

Jesus, seems a long time since he was permanently in the running for the Forest job.
In other Stags / Notts related news, Krystian Pearce joins Solihull Moors on a short term loan deal:

Personally I think this is a great appointment for the stags ,
its one manger we should have been chasing.
if ever there was a manager to back in terms of building a squad and developing youth it non league Nigel (as the florists call him)
Everything NA is not I believe
I think it’s a good appointment for Mansfield as well. He’s proven and did very well at Burton and steadied the ship at Derby.
I think Mansfield have more chance of staying in the league than they did before his appointment. It will be interesting to see what happens between now and January for them and what players they bring in.
We all know the problems with Notts over the years is not sacking managers but not replacing them with ones that are no better or worse. On the face of it, it appears the Radfords may have learned from Notts mistakes and given Mansfield the best chance of staying in the league. Let’s see how well this post ages.
