    It's really simple.

after years of mediocre coaches we'll take any game plan that MB comes up with. Better to sink or swim with a captain that has a vision that to drift aimlessly with some has been, washed up coach.

Pablo is going to be a problem. he's not accepting that he's not fast enough to play in the prem and he's not going to sit on the bench for longer periods of time. he was a big part of why we got to the prem but he's also not quite up to speed at this level. MB is not going to put up with a club house lawyer.

Disagree as Pablo was coming good in the second half and just hit a pearler at the top corner unlucky for him it hit the post. What happens next we all know and who he brought in unreal. Mb might be a good manager but his decisions leave a lot of questions. Again he has not done anything in Europe apart from the championship win. Driving on a road you come up with floods ahead MB keeps going but there is a side road we can go around. MB no.
If I was Pablo and was treated like that I would never play for him again.

You could also say he has had more influence on European football than anyone since Cruyff and Sacchi - He has influenced the philosophy of Guaediola, Klopp, Potecchino to name but a few and encouraged more use of the high press coupled with speed of attack.

He comes as he is and I quite like his lack of compromise to his principles. He gets a team based largely around a mid tier championship squad to play like angels - imagine what he can do when the squad improves and some of the uncut diamonds start to sparkle.

Suspect that Rodrigo or Poveda are a bigger problem match up for many prem teams than Pablo right now.

when phillips comes back along with the continued development of Gelhardt it's only going to get worse for him PT wise.

Just the reality of playing in the prem.

Sure that is if he lasts the season. The only way you will see the gems is if the others all break a leg. Remember Meslier only got his chance cause kikos suspension.

    I guess we will.

it's a very tough bar however:

    Darko Milanci - 0%
    Uwe Rosler - 16%
    Steve Evans - 36 %
    Gary Monk - 47%
    Thomas Christenson - 45%
    Paul Heckingbottom - 25%
    Marcelo 55%

To be fair some of the above did not have anywhere near the support talent wise that MB enjoys.
