    I am not surprised.
His nose must be out of joint now that he was longer the marque signing.
If it is correct that he has left to go to Australia to play soccer it is a strange time of year to do so.
The Australian soccer season will have recently finished.

Their new season starts in 7 weeks time with their elongated last season only finishing in August. I suppose he is over for pre season training.

Or maybe he just doesn’t fancy playing in such a poor league with team mates like Sow, Mullen, Forster and Hamilton?

It’s no fun to watch. Can’t imagine it’s fun to play in.

Apparently he had a clause in his contract which allowed him to leave if he received an offer from another club.
The offer from Australia was the third offer he had received having turned down two previous offers from other clubs.

No point of such a contract as far as the club is concerned. Latest in a series of stupid contracts

He might never have signed for us in the first place if this clause was not in his contract.
Sadly we are going to have to accept that we longer have the same clout as we did up to the early 1970’s when it came to signing top players with no strings attached to their contract and these days will never return.

Then we simply shouldn’t have signed him.

If we keep believing we’re second rate and that players can treat us how they please then they’ll keep doing it.

Suppose in signing Dorrans we had managed to gain promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season would you have had the same view.
