That was hard going watching tonight’s game which did nothing for my ticker.
Thank goodness we won especially as one of our Euro 2021 group games is at Hampden.
I am now having an OVD and lemonade to celebrate.

Hopefully the worst will be over with Covid by then. UEFA have agreed nothing but have put into place contingency plans to hold the whole tournament in one country to stop teams 'flying all over the place' in the event of ongoing problems. Russia seems to be the favourite to get the whole finals if this happens. It would be a bit ironic it they did this especially as teams have been 'flying all over the place' in recent weeks for the current nations cup, the play offs for next year and for the European club competitions. I suppose there is an argument for keeping interest going by playing all these games but I sure as hell cant get my head around nations chasing around the continent playing friendlies. That is sheer stupidity imo. It would be just like Scotland to qualify for a final tournament partly played at home and have it taken away from them!!

It's the mass movement of fans that is the issue, not the teams who are meant to be in a bubble and behaving themselves. Russia has been touted but UEFA have also denied there's a contingency plan. Putin is the type to declare Russia corona free though, so the tournament can go ahead without restrictions. Stops England getting home advantage so fine with me

My son & his mates took a chance and booked a hotel in London for three nights to take in the Scotland v England game.
They got 3 nights for £90, late last night the price for the same deal was £290 !

Checked the price of a cheap and cheerful hotel in Glasgow for Czech game, usual price £35 a night. Now sitting at £340

i think the last time i was in Wembley was when Gordon Mcqueen scored the winner and the Tartan Army dismantled the goals.
my mate ran onto the pitch and tore up some turf,he came back to the terracing and persuaded an English fan to give up his Tupperware box.
he emptied the sandwiches out of the box, then put the turf in.
remember years later when he sold his house , the back garden was advertised as having genuine Wembley turf !
