Cummings has officially left, laughably in the huff, so I'd expect Johnson to fold and try to push for a deal on EU terms whereas with Cummings it was always going to be no deal, as that's been his instructions from his bosses for 4 years. There is also the notion that the ERG have been left impotent since their chief gnome has been strangely absent for 2 months so a deal is far more likely. We'll see.
