They make money if they calculate the change in the .market correctly which is not the same thing. I don't approve of hedge funds and don't want to try to defend them but I think everyone who has stocks and shares helps to make our economy stronger.

These people have gambled billions on the market collapsing, they are not just bystanders - Rishi Sunak made his fortune this way, hundreds of millions from collapsing RBS, costing thousands of Scottish/UK jobs. I'll look forward to hearing Islay's comments on these matters, surely a big enough topic for him to be interested in

That's not how hedge-funds typically operate, they bet on markets/currency collapsing, which they have done for brexit with johnson being given his orders. Political pressure (from Carrie ) may force him to think about others for once in his life, now Trump and Cummings have gone, mind you

Glad you see things improving now that Trump and Cummings have left the political scene.

The future of the beloved United Kingdom (on here anyway) now rests with the expenses-fiddling bidey-in, what a great time to be alive

But Nicola's shoes, what about them

I am not surprised that RBS is collapsing as both my father and I were victims of fraud which took place in a Nat West Bank Clearing Centre as far back as January 2012 but nobody is interested in investigating this fraud.

Dundee supporters should be worried if Carrie changes the tax rules for sporting clubs in the US.

Don't think Carrie has that much influence, it's only bozo she controls not Trump
