No lockdown = no increased deaths.

I can't honestly make it any more simple.
100% this. Compare last five years in the location with now. Sweden going down (fnarr fnarr) and we're roughly stable.

It's the ones with the vested interests that have the government ears unfortunately - wonder what the personal slices of the pie will be.

Sweden now in the middle of a second wave, Tengen's plan for herd immunity has fallen flat on its face as only 17% of Swedes have antibodies, further restrictions added in Gothenburg and Stockholm including 10pm curfew. No nightclubs open, of course. One that did was immediately closed. Pressure on to start taking it seriously, relying on individuals to do the right thing which is obviously not going to work here will only get them so far. Prayers offered.

Fake news doesn't work for Trump so is hardly going to work for you, especially when the numbers are already posted on this thread. 2000 Scots died up to the end of April because lockdown was too late, numbers tailed off after that to zero deaths and only a dozen or so cases a day in August. These are verifiable facts. Let's hope the vaccine gets to where it needs to get to, eh. Or are you an anti-vaxxer as well

Can either of you two explain how keeping pubs open stops people dying of heart disease, which is what you're claiming. Also, projections for 2020 has Sweden at 92k deaths, can you explain how this is less than 89k in 2019.
