MA " I still got asked to play the odd game in the pack in various positions but played more often in the backs. Moved to Holland and, when I started training with Amsterdam they saw a full back in me. My last season saw us on tour in Prague. That was an interesting tour. 2 games in 3 days. Against Dukla and against Slavia. In the last game I was promoted to fly half, a position I'd only ever played half a dozen times and it was possibly the most frustrating game I've ever been involved in."

Does this mean you've possibly got a Dukla Prague away kit. If so I know someone, well half a someone, who might be interested in buying it for Christmas?

Unfortunately not GP. That Prague trip was, IIRC, in 1988.

Talking of kits reminds me of my dad's time as a site engineer for International Combustion, got all over the world and always brought me a shirt back from the local club. They were all at least as good as Derby's equivalent, even the ones from the depths of Kenya, but the ones from eastern Europe were absolutely vile, always stank of mothballs, either shrank or sagged the first time a grey cloud went over and the colours ran like mad. As Boney M said, oh those Russians
