Another excellent display last night, just ran the show, Iceland kicked him when they could get close enough, but for the most part they were just chasing shadows. I have to hold my hand up, I knew he was a decent footballer, but bloody hell, I didn't realise he was this good.

Can't disagree sinkov, he really is a top notch footballer.

    He's clever with it too!

Just shows what a moron we have in the England job. What was the point in playing Pickford last night?

I know the lad Grealish seems to thrive on it, but I wish the moronic press n media weren't already comparing him to Gazza etc.
And before we know it, they will be on his and Phil Foden's back for being too young or too immature.

Build 'em up to knock 'em down is the only way the media know Acido.

Yeah but its a pathetic way to go about it Beds.
We've got some real emerging talent in this England squad, and as always the press care more about selling their fish n chip wrapping paper.

Has always been the case though for as long as I can remember and that is a long time ---they used to pick the team with a committee back when I first started watching!

    It’s laughable isn’t it ?

The pundits - carragher stating he couldn’t see how grealish could play when Stirling , Rashford and others were back available.

I was thinking could we pick him to play with Sterling to make us a force going forwards, let the opposition worry themselves sick where the runners skill and creativity is coming from next.

Sadly I think Carra could be right , he’ll be on the bench before you know it.

Thought the same myself BT, he's not the first England manager though, with this weird idea that a competitive international is a level up from PL football, so he must play his very best team, but this was Iceland, half their team would struggle in the Championship and it was a meaningless game anyway. So what was the point, I've no idea.

Hey up Super, and tahh for replying.
I support my country/England as much (ok, almost as much) as my club of course. And I want to see them at their best regardless of what the terrible tabloiders think.
Remember their despicable personal tirades against Bobby Robson & Graham Taylor etc, just to sell their following days firelighting material.
