I wouldn't be surprised if there had been a falling out over tactics - Shankland is barely getting a kick with the way we've been playing in recent weeks. Must be frustrating for a guy who knows he can score consistently given even half a chance. Against teams like St Johnstone and St Mirren recently, he should have been terrorising their defenders. Also frustrating now that he has an international tournament to play for and he has to justify his place in the Scotland squad.Originally Posted by AraBrian

Don't think there's anything in it other than the manager thinking he's tired and/or hasn't trained sufficiently enough to be considered for a start. He reckoned he came back tired from the last Scotland trip as well. The mind does boggle sometimes.
