Only the essential worker and elites will have, that unless we can get the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to come good in the next 10 years; which is unlikely. Its all part of agenda 2030 and great reset stuff.
My view is that I will probably have stopped driving by then, definitely will if I have to go all electric because I hardly ever do short journeys.
The advantage for me is that they probably will not be able to power the electric chair that my missus keeps promising to strap me in to if I don't behave!

    Lol - me too

Just read a letter from an electric owner saying he was told not to drive through more than 6 inches of water as the batteries are low slung. With global warming caused by diesel and petrol creating more climate change and more floods owners could be in for fun or even a shock!!

Rumours this is a Brexit tactic to frighten Germany as they don’t have many electric cars.

I wander if they’ve even given a thought to how we generate the enormous amount off electric required to supply all these vehicles, if they have , what’s the impact of extra nuclear power stations offset against the cars , what’s the offset against the production of the batteries and what’s there impact on the environment especially after the 5 years predicted life.

I’m not sure they’ve considered the above

We have to send lithium batteries to Europe for recycling. We seem to have no plans to do so!!!
It will take 5 years to set one up.

You raise an interesting thought. How will we go to war with electric vehicles and is there a battery big enough for a tank.

The Chinese as usual have the answer to that OC.

No tanks needed, just microwave the opposing side's ground troops.
