Swansea City 15:00 Rotherham United Saturday 21st

After another international break we’re back in action
    6th v 19th placed in the table
    Last five games Swans 2 wins,2 draws,1 loss v Millers 2 wins, 3 losses
So a winnable game but I’d take a point now tbh
Think we know who our injured players are, hopefully no new picked up
Maybe one or two might be back

The team used to be called Swansea Town until the 1970s, when they became Swansea City after Swansea (the place) gained City status.

I think Warney was confident we may have a few back so fingers crossed, it will be another tough test but if we are at our best one we can pass

Can't wait to get back to some seriously nervous action on the sofa!

I know Warney loves international breaks, but I hate them.

I agree. I thought I'd be more detached as I live in London and haven't been able to see many games since my season ticket travel everywhere younger days but have been a nervous wreck this season!

    So who’s in net then?

Warne on team news ahead of Swansea trip…

“We’ve got 22 training today, so we’re in good shape. We have to make a decision on Joe Mattock, but aside from that everyone who we expected to be available is.

“Kieran Sadlier is having an operation on his injury, that doesn’t make any difference as to when he will be able to play, which still rules him out until at least February, which is a big blow for Kieran and a big blow for us. Jamal Blackman is back in contention, we’ll see how he does in training today and I’ll have a chat with him later to see how he is.”

Last time at Swansea we stumbled across their old ground, the vetch field, near the prison and at the city end of Swansea bay.
They've left some of the old walls and turnstiles for the memory.
It's now a communal park with a children's playground, a small football pitch, a small housing development and allotments but I read afterwards that it's plagued by drug dealers and vice
