I admit when I’m wrong.
And I got it wrong on the BBS.
I mistakenly thought that I could discuss words that are used when talking about racial issues.
For example - in light of the banned Bambo chants - what was likely to happen if Zornigger got the managers job?
Probably deemed as being clumsy - but it’s definitely not a racial attack to hurt any racial group or individual.
I find it impossible to discuss things like that now on the BBS.
Racial issues are well out of bounds on there - you are not allowed to even mention it’s name without concern that some dimwit (who dosen’t understand the meaning of the word racism) will start throwing racist accusations about.
So as such it’s a topic that has been well and truly swept under the carpet on the BBS.
But that wasn’t always the case.
So yes I got it wrong. I thought the BBS was an open message board where all types of topics could be discussed sensibly.
Unfortunately that train has long gone.
I could see how things were going on the BBS so I should have tread more carefully.
I tried to explain my posts and gave an apology to say I was sorry if I had upset anyone.
But that wasn’t enough for the BBS Admin team - who continued to allow the racist accusations against me to remain on the site.

Firstly - it’s under a thread about Tom Wooster - so yes it is completely the wrong place for a discussion about the BBS.
However - I have not instigated these discussions.
I’m only answering questions put to me.
