Especially given the late embargo on Campbell and Maguire. The manager - justifiably - was unhappy, for more than one reason. They'll need to think about this; losing players as a result of international call - ups, as opposed to inside - the - club issues is unfair, and is an additional risk which won't affect clubs which don't have any players called up. The fact that it'll be a while before this might crop up again should give time for the football authorities to work something out.

I'm susrpised by the issues being raised by ourselves and Aberdeen. The problem of timing os one thing but our 2 clubs have raised concerns about social distancing on coaches and planes. Surely that should be down to basic common sense. Would we get away that domestically if our squad failed to observe distancing protocols on a coach to an away game?

I don't know the ins and outs of the protocols but I find in general clubs complaining to be a bit of a bad taste...they all know they're lucky to be playing at all and everyone signed up for this season knowing fairness had nothing to do with it. If there was poor communication sure, let the SFA know but the public whining looks ridiculous imho.

You can’t have your cake and eat it and that’s what the SFA are trying to do. They have slammed and investigated clubs such as St.MIrren and Kilmarnock for being slow to notify the SFA and their opposition clubs of Covid 19 outbreaks, yet in the same manner the SFA take their time to inform the clubs affected by the outbreak of Covid in the Under 21 squad

They're the governing body, it's well established that having cake and eating it is fine.

Yes they should have done better but it's a mistake which needs kept in perspective.
