    Karlan Grant

Anyone else think we’ve over spent on this very average player ?

Not done anything yet to justify his price tag in my opinion

To be fair to him, he hasn't had a lot of service this season. I think any one of our strikers would be in the same position.

I agree although we only have two strikers of any worth - Grant and Robinson. Grant still looks unfit to me and I blame Dowling for this - all that p issing around! Pereira needs to be in the middle and I would start Krov with Gallagher. Sawyers is a waste of space and Livermore far too inconsistent and goes missing!

I don’t think we have any strikers of any worth

Non are centre forwards they all seem to enjoy playing wide but can play down the middle as another option

Defence stepped up and Bartley ( give him credit ) looks ok with Ivanovic. Livermore and Sawyers not up to it whilst Gallagher and Krov are! Two biggest investments - Grant and Diangana need to start showing why the money was splashed on them!

Totally agree also think Townsend is improving every game

It’s the top end of the pitch that we are severely being let down

Having seen only two games on TV this season I'm probably not in the best place to judge, yet I don't think Grant's the problem.

We don't get players in and around him often enough or quickly enough during games. Work on the speed of match transitions, get players around him and give him the occasional sniff of goal.

Harsh to judge him or write him off this early given his late recruitment and lack of familiarity with team mates he hardly ever seems to see on the pitch.

I think its to early to judge him. I think for us, he could be a decent player. When the debate was had early on in the season about us signing older players after a last pay day etc etc, I recall several people raised this issue at the time that we needed the right players around our striker(s) to get the ball to them quickly and generally be more clinical in the last third. I don't see anything that's changed my view on that tbh. It's work in progress for me as I think Grant and Robinson can do a job but we need to sort out those around them.
