Ok then splitting the difference, a starting bid of £165k

As Bruce used to say, “ higher or lower?”

All depends who's buying.....2 or 3 hundred grand ?? Sell-on clause and loads of add-ons.....

....and loan him back to us for at least 1 season.....

Also depends on which club was selling a player like Kayode

    Barnsley £2m
    RUFC £200k

Not necessarily that we usually undersell it's just that BFC have a track record in selling players who go on to do very well hence there's confidence from the buying club

All depends on where we end up. Will only sell if we stay up

Barnsley said to be looking at Swindon Town midfielder Jack Payne, the player is
26 year old, the price mentioned £300,000, for a summer transfer.

Ex-Miller Jon Taylor is out injured for the rest of the season, the Doncaster Rovers
players contract, is up in the summer, with Rovers having a option to keep him
    for a further 12 months.
Taylor has not exactly hit the ground running while at Rovers, could be the club
doesn't exercise the 12 month option.

flour, about right that between us and clubs who have the bottle to ask for the right price. The big question I have to ask is, with all these clubs mentioned looking at him, why are we even contemplating selling him? Surely youth, athleticism and something to build on, he has to stay?

But staying means paying a decent wage to a player unlikely to be picked

I still believe his move was a balancing of the wages bill exercise
Scouting is very much still happening even with Covid restrictions. I follow Guy Branston on Instagram and he is often out at games scouting. He is the current loan manager for Leicetser U23's.

Yes maybe, but how do they justify their fee for doing it?

Easy just watch somebody then write a glowing report

No scout is going to say “ nowt out there at the moment”
