Yep - it isn't working, tiers are worse than when we went in, 2 people can go for a walk but can't play golf etc. Nonsense

In my little used brain, the only way lockdown works is: a)you have enough personnel to police it, b) you stay in lockdown until an antivirus is confirmed to work and has been distributed to the population. Short of one or two of the more notorious countries in our world, there is nowhere this would be allowed to happen without civil war, thats why it dont work. Just wait till the vaccine comes around and the wokes/flakes/conspiracy theorists refuse to take it......mind you thats when natural selection takes over I guess! Stay healthy and sane everyone, as other posters have put, use your noddle, or as my son recently said, its fine, stop listening to Jeremy Vine and dont lick people and you will be ok (he has a way with words,no idea where he gets it from)

Surely it would be better for all, if they just opened everything up? The Covid regs in place now actually make it safer.
If my nieghbours are anything to go by, 10 kids 4 women slugging wine and thats okay?
Have you noticed now supermarkets just let anyone in, no strict 1 in 1 out anymore. Its all about the money!
A lopcal shop was fined for opening up, yet it had a clean area station outside with Sanatizer, gloves and strictly 2 people in the shop at a time.....whats wrong with that? Banning people is making it worse. I went to my local park yesterday for Fresh air, there must have been hundreds gathered around the coffee shop, kids and dogs everywhere, not a mask in sight, who's allowing this.

Ignorant people have made Lockdown impossible. People are not working, lost their income, cos of lockdown, yet the arseholes who are flouting, are making these sacrifices worthless.

It grates me that some people see this as a political grenade to throw from the hypocritical trenches of the righteous bleeding hearts, desperate to protest against common sense.

What the fox is it that people can’t or won’t social distance? Everyone knows someone with a health problem. My auld pal has had the start of his chemo disrupted because Covid is filling hospital appointments.

My next-door neighbour's 8yr old son has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. A diagnosis that was delayed by Covid patients filling the Doctor's surgery and hospitals.

It’s a pandemic ffs, unprecedented measures for unprecedented times. Face up to the challenge of hardship and persevere. Not squeal at the first sniff of sacrifice. For some poor souls, this is life as they know it, a struggle to survive on a daily basis. The champagne socialists of this world don’t know their arse from their entitled elbows.

    Human rights, my hole.

    Spot on, Exiled!

Those who complain about their human rights seem to be completely uncaring of the rights of others not to be infected with this virus - especially the vulnerable, and all the front line workers who have kept this country going and do not have the luxury of being able to work from home. They are just dragging this out for everyone, and causing more people to suffer, both in terms of health, and financially. For most of us, we're not being asked to do so much that is so terrible. Just stay 2 meters apart and wear a mask in shops etc. Not visit people for a while. No-one's being sent to the trenches. Apart, perhaps, from the frontline workers. Those who refuse to wear masks etc will still consider it their right for someone to put themselves at risk treating them.

I wish your neighbour's son and your friend all the best.
