Rooney, I'd love to see his "pass completion" stats. They would be horrendous.

The same could be said for his "caught in possession and lost the ball" stats if they have them.

Not for the first time this sason, he had a stinker and, IMO, no way should he start on Saturday based on that "performance". Unfortunately, he will.

What I will say, though, is that, if he and Liam decide not to start him on Saturday, it will be a sign that they are applying basic football common sense in making ALL players have to EARN keeping the shirta and that that applies to Wayne as well. It would give me more faith in the pairing than I currently have.

I just think thank goodness Derby aren't paying the full amount of his rumoured £100K a week.

I thought it was 75K and Bet32 were paying the lot........

He's not playing for the next 2 games at least. Pick up ponts and we might have seen the back of him as a player.............

Everything I remember reading suggested 50K a week and, as you suggest, paid by Bet32. Far too much but, £50, £75 or £100K...seeing as he’s said to be worth around £100M I don’t suppose it matters that much to him but it does illustrate how easily matters can become exaggerated.

Wycombe fans have started a GoFundMe page hoping to raise £100k to persuade him to play

Your right depending upon which source you believe his wages are quoted as £50K, £75K and £100K a week
