Media net problems obliterating first post

I can’t now read first posts of threads as media.net adverts are obliterating it with their ads on my iPad. I clicked on the top right button which takes me to media net and gives the option of ticking it obliterates the post. Nothing happens.
Anyone else got this and any solutions?
