    Sleeping giants

During the 70’s and 80’s, Pompey were always tagged with the term, along with a few other teams.

Can you remember who they were and is it still relevant today.

Don't laugh too long and too hard.....

Bradford City, once in the Premier League now in League 2.
They did very, very cheap season tickets and were getting big crowds in League.
Something not right at that club.

I’m curious as to the thinking behind that. I can see why that might be attractive to have full houses every week. Similar income as half full stadium. More income from food sales. More revenue from club shop. Building a large fan base for the future.
    Anyone heard if it’s working?

Soft spot for them as they do get big crowds and have a solid fan base. Gareth Evans not doing too well there yet. Don't think they've won a game since he joined.

Pass, as av never bin to Saarfampt'n.

Remember when C.Palace got tagged the team of the 80s, when they had a young Clive Allen leading the front line. And Brummingum were similar before that when Trevor Francis was a star future million pounder lol.
