Poor game but a couple of good finishes. Smash and Grab.

I've seen some astounding comments about Joelinton, both in the press and in fan groups.

He laid on the goal for Wilson really well, no doubt about that and was in the right position for his goal (but his shot was pish an he got lucky with the deflection)/

But, he was shite for the 'first' 85 minutes ...lost the ball, shooting was terrible...he should have been off, man. The thing is, he's set the bar so low, the first time he jumps over it, people lose their minds and suddenly we've got a combination of Messi, Ronaldo and Pele on our hands.

    I'm not buying it, sorry.

Total brick through the window job.

That JL assist was nice though but his goal lucky to be fair- still I would take a goal and assist from him every game.

So much more to do to even get close to winning me over and SB cannot hope to rely on this kind of luck in every game surely.

    Absolutely this all day.
Apart from the assist he was sh*t. Remember the ‘header’ (he didn’t even make contact) and all of his shots (including the goal) as well as his usual handful of times he’s brushed off the ball, often by players physically smaller than him.
He does one good thing in hours of football and Bruceless claims he’s the second coming? Bruce and Joelinton are a joke.

I'm astounded that an NUFC blog give Linton a nine because he worked hard and got in good positions. He only give Miggy a five.
