We have got our priorities badly wrong, eh? ...... very depressing !...............this system must be changed !

''All I see is debt all I see is deeper and deeper into debt.''- Julie from County Durham changed jobs just a week before lock down - then found herself out of work and ineligible for the furlough scheme. ''Corona virus unemployment: I felt worthless''
People living in local authorities in England that were suffering the highest levels of poverty before corona virus are now facing the biggest rises in unemployment since the pandemic hit.

Are you ready to be part of the change?

Prout aims to guarantee the basic needs of all - their food, shelter, medical care, education, etc.

Prout proposes this is done through guaranteed full employment and purchasing capacity, i.e. decent jobs with a living wage.
While political democracy can and needs to be improved, Prout emphasises economic democracy as a direct way people can take control of their daily lives.
Prout, often characterised as “progressive socialism”, provides a unique and integrated system that aligns itself with socialist approaches but also differs in important ways. With regards to ownership, Prout creates a three-tiered economic structure, which allows for private ownership of small enterprises, in order to stimulate innovation. However, most of the medium- and large-scale economic activity is controlled by independent cooperatives, together with state-owned key industries. Through economic decentralisation, Prout replaces centralised country-level planning with local control of markets, in order to build local self-sufficiency and wealth.

I fully support the Lib Dem policy of a Universal Basic Income (well I would, wouldn't I?)

I said the Labour Party should have promulgated this idea ten years ago and was told it was too drastic.

Meanwhile the Tories continue to dish out lucrative contracts from COVID Central to their chums and cronies, right left and centre.

I read this morning, the Tories would win an Election right now if we had one according to recent polls.

Are the adult population of the United Kingdom really this ****ing brain dead?

Not really BT, they are faced with a very minor and trivial version of the dilemma those poor buggers at the top of the Twin Towers were faced with, they could either stay where they were and slowly burn to death, or jump out of the window and end it all quickly. They chose to jump, but it didn't mean they were braindead, they chose the lesser of two evils, which is why most of the UK would still vote Tory over Labour.
