    Burke

What a shame he did not show the same commitment and spirit when playing for us. Clearly is lacking with his final touches, but his pace was a constant threat which our defenders were all unable to handle.
Undoubtedly he wanted to make a point.
Interesting that the Sheff fans believe they have the better of the Burke/Robinson swap. (They would say that..would they ?)

Totally agree - thought he looked more of a threat than Grant for us .... I fact have watched him in a few SU games this season ..... and despite being in a poor side he looks a threat with his pace .... Whether we or SU have got the better deal not sure .... Robinson has done well this season ...

Always had talent and unbelievable pace, his touch was terrible and his finishing was awful, that said these are things that can be improved and he is still only young.

You’re touch doesn’t improve with age, you either have a first touch or you don’t.

Burke is like a Hippo trying to control a ping pong ball.

Sheffield United have worked out a way to use him to his best like Forest did which is to get the ball to him deeper on the pitch with a short pass and on the half turn to allow him “face up” the defender and knock it past him.

We used Willie Johnston in the same way, we never knocked long balls to him the way we tried to do with Burke.

Glad to be shot of him but then again Grant's first touch looks poor and they still board the windows up in McDonalds on the Birmingham Road when Phillips comes on!

To think a 20 year old - yes 20 ( Gallagher ) is far superior to almost every player we have in terms of energy, commitment, quick thinking and getting stuck in. Perhaps Bilic can give some of our youngsters a go up front and off load Kanu and Austin to Brighton beach!
