    Raul

It has been announced this morning that Raul suffered a fractured skull yesterday and was operated on in London. I am sure we all wish him well and are thoughts are with his family.

I wonder how long his recovery will take? Anyway, I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

Not wanting to sound too depressive, but depending on the severity of the injury, it could end the lads career. Lets pray and hope he can make a full recovery, get back on the pitch and hear the South Bank singing "Si Senior" as he puts one into the net.

Hard to tell. You'd have to think there could be a ton of negative consequences for trying to head the ball as much as a footy player does when you've had a previous fractured skull (which I would assume is accompanied by a concussion). Just glad he doing well right now. Might not hear about timeline for a while. Absolutely awful situation.

Ex Wolves player Don Goodman, who was co commentator at the Emirates, also had a fractured skull some years ago and made a complete recovery and continued to play football. Let us hope Raul can do the same, even if he has to wear a skull cap.

Ouch, how did Luiz manage to get his fingers in Raul's mouth?
