Tough one on Wednesday night as we make the long trip to Middlesboro for what is billed the battle of the defences. They’ve conceded nine goals compared to our eight in the 14 games so far. Middlesboro have conceded just three goals at home, one of those a late penalty against Norwich, the only goal of the game, and their solitary home defeat.
Their manager is Neil Warnock the experienced and much travelled manager. He kept them up at the end of last season after they were near the bottom of the table, taking over on a short term contract and was rewarded with a new contract for his efforts.
He has stuck to virtually the same side so far, but is expected to make changes for tonight’s game, with Sam Morsy, Duncan Watmore, Patrick Roberts, and Chuba Akpom waiting for their chance.
We’ll know more on any Swans team news after the usual pre-match Press Conference this afternoon.
