We do need to remember that seven of those 10 games were at home.

Big tests coming up this month at the likes of Wrexham, Stockport and Maidenhead, plus Bromley and Chesterfield at home. Let’s hope we get Cal Roberts back this month and manage to continue this good run. Another 20-plus points in the next 10 games should see us break into the top three in the PPG league (which may still end up being the one that matters).

Against that improved level of opposition I suspect we need Magic Man Roberts back to maintain this great run of form.

Fingers crossed he's back to his best in the not too distant future.

We need to adopt a Cotterill/Rochdale attitude, but that means ~23 points/10 games. That looks like WWDWWLWWDW (nearly 3 times). Beating Torquay on the way would help plus the odd slip up on their behalf. Unfortunately we don't have a Cotterill.

Home and away form is irrelevant at the moment.
I was watching a game yesterday and they mentioned that home teams were picking up less points than at any time in history. Someone on here several months ago mentioned the Bundesliga being the same.
The only person that needs to factor this in is Ardley. He needs to play tactics that will win the game.

Home wins in the NL are currently at 41% this season, exactly the same as last season, but away wins are up from 32% to 38%. Draws are down from 27% to 21%.

It is indeed Davy, can't argue with that. We can be happy with the most recent ten though and hope to continue that excellent form for as long as the season continues. Fingers crossed.

..but fortunately we do have an Ardley. Let us all hope his recent points tally success and defensive excellence continues or even improves. We could do with Roberts back ASAP to bolster the creativity department though!

Two good results tonight see us move up to 3rd in the PPG Table, which is important if the season continues but is not completed.

As Gumpy says on another thread, we are now 13 points behind Torquay with 4 games in hand. We'd also be only 1 point behind Sutton if we won our game in hand on them.

Top spot is not out of reach after all, it seems.
