Another dire performance saw us miss the opportunity to overtake Torquay, who lost again.
Hartlepool, like Notts, were 1-0 down with 20 minutes to go, but unlike Notts, managed to pull off a 2-1 win.
Sutton move to the top of the table after their 4-1 thumping of Wealdstone.

Here's the updated PPG Table after tonight's games.

We slip further behind after wins for Sutton and Torquay, but a draw away from home against a promotion rival, even if we were a little fortunate, shouldn't be sniffed at.

If Dover's games are expunged we're exactly half way through the season. A long way to go yet, but maybe I'd prefer to be chasing the leaders at this stage rather than be looking over my shoulder for the next 21 games.

And who knows, perhaps we'll find how to score a goal or three before the season ends.

After another win Chesterfield are up to 8th.

I love checking these tables after each game. Thanks for posting them.

1 point though, if Dover's games are expunged we would have played 20 games so not quite halfway

But if they do go then we get closer to Torquay I believe.

I noticed the slip up about being halfway when it was too late to edit.

    Note to self - Don't do complicated calculations (21 minus 1 = 21) after 10.00pm.

    We've dropped to 4th following Hartlepool's win.

5 defeats in a row for Altrincham has seen them slip in the regular table from 4th at the start of this month all the way down to 11th. On PPG they're 16th, so that's probably the Robins out of the picture.

About time I did an update. Today's results were pretty kind to us. Let's hope we can take advantage on Tuesday.

Playing with 10 men and Doyle in goal could be worth a try.

Its surprising how a win can rekindle your interest. Here's an updated PPG Table with a difference.

I've expunged Dover's results (what else can they do if the season is completed?).

We now look in a much healthier position. Second or third place must be the minimum target.

You never know. Sutton might do a 'Torquay'.

It was only just over a month ago I pointed out that finishing top was totally in our hands:

Seems as if Sutton must have read the thread instead of Ardley
