Time to step up to the plate..
BRENTFORD 1 ROVERS 3
This is going to sound very negative especially with our current good form, but I feel they will be a little bit too good for us.
I really hope I am wrong on this one.
2-0 loss
Time to step up to the plate..
BRENTFORD 1 ROVERS 3
This league is there for the taking, the teams who the pundits rave about are falling like flies.
Let's hope we are in the mix because we are capable. Dack will be back soon and that is like signing a £ 15 million player.
Not sure I see us losing this one. The luck is very much with us right now. Hope it carries on.
2-2
For me I do not factor him in. I have been saying this for months now. If he was fine, he would be back by now. Then his first spell back after a year out will be plagued with small niggling injuries.
He will come back. I think he will be playing by the Sheff Wed game on Boxing day, or at least in the squad.
But I will need to see him play for a good while before I can see if he is the same player. I highly doubt he will be. But it would be a bonus if he does come back as the old Dack.
As good as the last 3 games have been, and the points are welcome, its just pulled us back into the running. Due to the fact we have already lost so many games, we basically have no room for error for pretty much the rest of the season. Other than the off minor blip. Which a big ask.
The next 3 games will actually tell us where they are. If they are going to do something this season, away at Brentford, away At Bristol City and home to Stoke will be the test.
We have not beaten one side above us in the league this season. These next 3 are all above us.
Those 3 wins are all in the past now. We need to re-focus and go pick up points from all these games. Not go straight back to wilting again. This is the test now. Are we actually any good? If they dont pick up around 6-7 points from these 3 games then they simply fall back out of it again. And back playing catch-up.
Finally we have started beating teams who are not as good as us, pretty regularly. Now we need to step it up and start beating decent sides for the first time this season.
