    Out of interest

If we weren't in Tier 3 and could have 4 000 fans in the ground (is it 4 or 2?), would you be going if you could get a ticket?

Personally, I think it's madness. We're so close to the vaccine rolling out that getting thousands of people travelling to and from the stadium let alone the mixing inside the ground seems to be done to make a point as opposed to anything else. I'm not bothered about the disparity between teams playing in front of fans and and those teams still playing to an empty stadium-that's just where we are in society, lots of things haven't been fair on folk these last 10 months so that's just the way it is and I'm not sure how much difference that number of fans will make anyway (I'm sure certain managers will claim it does).

So, I was just interested in whether you would go?

In a word: no. For the reasons you mentioned but also what is the reason anyone goes to a game rather than watch on tv? Basically because it’s 10x better to watch live than on a tv. But why is that? For me it’s the atmosphere and the pre and post match beers. Neither of these will be good until the grounds are full and completely safe.

dont know, 4000 in such a big stadium is a joke - might as well be empty - so probably not however if that ticket came my way would i be tempted ?????

i cant see how they can allow 4000 in a stadium that holds say 12000 yet still only 4000 in ours or somewhere like wembley - ridiculous.

edit: BTW chelsea are reported to be charging £75 a ticket for their game coming up

Is that 4000 only home fans? Or is it split between home & away supporters,

I thought it was just home fans.

Idea that people aren't travelling between tiers.
