When our kids were little we loved watching "The Snowman" and we still do.

Going back in time and a film I first saw back around Christmas time in 1956 yes 1956, was Walt Disney's Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier...even had a Davy Crockett hat...

Years on I bought the DVD from Amazon I like to watch it around Christmas time (although the wife and grandkids are not too keen) But this year because of COVID and self isolating I can fill my boots...

This is it for me. You're 3 for 3.

Throw Bad Santa into the mix and that's all the Christmas movies I need.

Personally I think the idea of Santa’s evil brother coming to scare naughty kids is a good and one we should adopt.

My mum made me and my friends Davy Crockett hats out of an old fur coat in the mid 50s, happy days.

EDIT: Yep, you're spot on...this is The Futurist. The one in Sherwood I posted in error was The Metropole

Yep the old Metropole. The pic in your quote is the Futurist in Basford. I remember shopping regularly in the Kwik Save in Sherwood so goodness knows why I made this booboo.
