Luke Thomas could be set for a January move away from Championship club Barnsley.
The 21-year-old winger is thought to be attracting interest from several League One clubs including Sunderland and Oxford United.
He joined Barnsley from Derby County in the summer of 2019, scoring the winning goal against Fulham on his debut at Oakwell.
His second goal for the Tykes came in a 3-1 FA Cup third round win at Crewe Alexandra in January.
Barnsley have had a £500,000 bid accepted for Forest Green defender Liam Kitching.

I understand Forest Green centre-back Liam Kitching is someone Barnsley are looking at but the deal is not done as reported elsewhere. Highly-rated 21-year-old who could follow Ethan Pinnock in going from the Gloucestershire club to Oakwell. #barnsleyfc
Milton Keynes Dons manager Russell Martin has confirmed that loan player Carlton Morris is back with Norwich City, in talks about a transfer to a Championship club.
The forward has been heavily linked with a move to Barnsley in recent weeks, and it appears this has moved a step forward.

Morris - Not the most prolific but he has very good ability to link up play in the final third.
Barnsley boss Valerien Ismael has today confirmed the Tykes are close to signing striker Carlton Morris from Norwich, as he sets his sights on keeping his squad intact during the January transfer window after some impressive form.
