Let's think about this for a sec.
We turn down an offer of £1m+ reportedly for Mowatt. Good /bad whatever.
Someone else offers £1.5m and we accept. Good/ bad whatever.
Doesn't matter coz Mowatt won't agree terms knowing he will be offered more in the summer.
We carry on playing him? If we do does he still give 100% commitment or does he slack off so he doesn't get injured.
If he gets injured he accepts a 1 year ext'n with us and round we go again.
Win win for him?

The 25-year-old could be lured away from Priestfield this month despite having only joined the club last summer.
