I suspect Keith have been mistakenly given one of the New Firm balls, as two home ties in succession is unprecedented.

My old school pal, and top Maroon now retired from the SFA’s Refereeing and Disciplinary dept, spent the 90 minutes with me yesterday. We agreed that the appointment of Central Belt referees to cup ties involving HL clubs is often disadvantageous, as they don’t always understand “our ways”.

Were you travelling around 2pm just east of Newmachar? When I stopped at the junction of the golf club/A947 roads to turn on to the Oldmeldrum road, the car behind me was being driven by a bearded dude with a kid strapped into the passenger seat. I thought it was maybe you.

And what do we know of Hill of Beath form-wise?

Nah Wee Man was preoccupied with something else yesterday. Went up to the Vale myself

The Haws have played 10, won 5, lost 5, scored as many as they have conceded in the league.

Won last last 3 in all comps v Whitehill Welfare x 2, Glasgow Uni

Prior to that lost to Dundonald Bluebell, Jeanfield Swifts, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts(who are pish and beat them 4-0),

Prior to that win a couple, lose a couple, win one, lose one

One thing I'll tell you about them. I visited them this time last year and the committee and club in general are friendly bunch. Plenty chat and very affable

    Definitely doable for the Maroons

Its nae a beard min, it's just laziness

Now you mention it, you look **** all like your profile avatar pic thing.

I’ll have a look at the Haws’ fixture list and maybe nip down on a spying trip if they have a midweeker before 26 December.

He didn’t get back from the edge of the box after making the clearance. He might have landed on his arse also.

Davie’s forgiven most things after his red card for reputedly calling a referee ‘a ****’ as a mere 17 year old. Mature beyond his years.

Wasn’t paying enough attention to notice that he cleared it you’d have thought the fact he was wearing a different colored kit would have helped me
