He scored a great goal in the league cup on his debut so there is something there, is it 18 million pounds worth well, we will have to wait and see!
Too early to suggest 'Dead man walking'

You lads were spot on and I'll hold my hand out to get wacked with a heavy spoon. It does take some time to settle into the EPL. Well done Bertrand I've never been happier to be wrong.

Oz, you were only going on what you’d seen, just as your last statement is going on what you’ve seen.

On the other hand, one swallow doesn’t make a summer mate. Here’s hoping for a little consistency.

Also, no need for you to reveal your heavy spoon fetish, this is a family show .

What a time to be a Villan eh boys & girls - have to give Dean Smith a lot of credit for how our squad has improved in a little over 12 months. Will be interesting to see how we fare against Spurs, Chelsea & Man U - can't match them player for player so perhaps play to a system and look to hit them on the break the way Wolves do?

Based on that game. No one. Perhaps give him a run off the bench and start him against Manure?. A few extra days on the tendon wouldn't hurt. It's a good position to be in. We're starting to get some real competition for places.

I'd drop Ghazi and move Jack out left, Barkley then has to sit out against Chelsea by which time Trez will hopefully be fit and pushing for a place which will make Traore work for the shirt.

Yes the competition is looking good, Chelsea already looking to off load players and Barkley one of them to raise money for Declan Rice. Figure of 30 mill has been muted!
Traore, El Ghazi, Trez, Barkley all Vying for 2 positions. Must be a dream for Smith.
Nakamba and Hourihane sitting tight, would we go out in January and upset the applecart?
