    To no-one's surprise

...we've got no money to spend in January (according to the Chron).

Loans it is, then. Anyone half-decent available? We need creativity in the middle-we have absolutely none apart from the odd attempt by Shelvey )- and someone to get at least a few goals to ease the burden on Wilson; imagine if he got injured. CB cover, too.

Surely someone like Chelsea or Arsenal have a decent player on the fringes who's eager to get game-time and show what they can do?

(and yeah, I'm well aware of what a pathetic position that is for us to be in)

Thing is even if we went for someone like an out of form and out of favour Dele Alli:

    - Couldn’t afford the the loan fee
    - Couldn’t afford the full wages
    - Would offer a pîss take % of those wages with pîss take loan fee so no deal
    - Other clubs would negotiate a reasonable deal on the above
    - No decent player would want to play under Bruce
    - No decent player would want to play for a basket case of a club

    Aye

And talking about Arsenal and Chelski, both managers are rotating players a reasonable amount, so not convinced any of theres would be desperate enough to come here.

I hear there’s a classy ball-playing centre half at Deportivo Alavés who’s by all accounts having a more than decent season, reckon we should bring JFK out of retirement and scout him. Must be a deal that can be done

He didn’t fit into Bruceasaurus tactical brain as he wasn’t very good at hoofing the ball out of defence to an opposition player

Surprise, surprise. Fatty has plenty of money to waste on other schemes which won't stand a hope in hell of achieving the same success as sensible, shrewd investment in this club would
