Super first start appearance for ****ager Charlie Cowie and so pleased for big London - born and ex - Abbey Vale striker Tommy Goss with his clinching goal.

Good result, great performance but please lets not get to carried away, we need to carry this performance forward and start picking up points regularly or we will back down at the bottom

I don't believe that anyone will get carried away until Queens start to show some winning consistency and we are a long way from that currently.

16 year old Charlie Cowie signed his first professional contract in September. He had to change schools in order to do so. Thanks to Rohan Ferguson's injury he sat on the 1st team bench for a couple of games in November. He got an emergency call to join Dalbeattie Star on loan and played for them at Huntly in the Scottish Cup.

He woke up this morning still on loan to Dalbeattie. By 10:30am Rohan Ferguson had reported in sick and application was made to the SPFL to recall Charlie on a 7 day emergency loan so he could sit on the bench again. 10 minutes before kick off Jack Leighfield hurt himself in warm up and Charlie became our youngest debutant since Chris Doig.

Fast forward a couple of hours and he's treasuring a clean sheet and we have our first away League win this season. Raith Rovers 0 - 2 Queen of the South

    Well done young man!
