    Swansea v Watford

New manager Xisco Munoz couldn’t have had a better start to his Watford tenure, beating leaders Norwich 1-0 last Saturday with only 34% possession and one shot on target.
A week of rest due to Covid in the Millwall camp postponing their mid-week fixture, gives them an advantage. Their other advantages are new manager bounce and having kept most of their PL squad together after relegation last season.
Having said that, they have just lost experienced midfielder Etienne Capoue to Villarreal. To compensate, they’ve signed free scoring Danish winger Philip Zinckernagel from Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt (he was recently linked to us), although he is ineligible to play this weekend.
Our advantages are that we are at home, we are strong at home, and we have a mean defence, only conceding 2 goals in the last 6 home matches.
Not so good for us was our defensive rock Ryan Bennett limping off against Reading with a hamstring injury, although substitute Joel Latibeaudiere slotted in well and was unlucky not to score on the night

Probably the best we’ve played this season and a great start to the new year.
