Following a request from both clubs our game away at Inverness Caledonian Thistle next Tuesday (12th Jan) will now kick off at*1830. This follows the announcement*that our William Hill Scottish Cup tie away at Queens Park this weekend will be shown live on BBC Scotland and has therefore been moved to Friday*(8th Jan) with a 1945 kick off.

Although we defeated the Spiders in the League Cup earlier in the season this could be a difficult game for the Doonhamers as their League record is on a par with the Ibrox club - undefeated and only 5 goals conceded plus they also knocked us out of this competition last season at Palmy.

I am very optimistic. Connor shields is the man. We just need to keep attacking as our defending needs worked on.

Very professional performance all round to get to the third round which I assume will also he shown live on the Beeb. Now to maintain this momentum in the league. Mon the South.

That 2nd half performance was top class. Totally dominated QP when you would have expected QP to come out and try and get back into the game quickly. What can you say about Connor Shields? This kid has had a rough time since moving to and from Sunderland, but ironically since the loss of Dobbie he has come into his own. Once again tonight he had pace, good control, accurate passing above all composure. Well deserved MOTM.
