Hi he could hit them and wasn't his nephew Steve a spitting image.

I saw that game. I think we beat Stoke 5-3.

As a kid the footballer I always wanted to be able to play like. Bobby Hope. Would have won a few more Scotland caps but he was a contemporary of Elegant Jim Baxter

I believe it was Paul Agnew, the former Grimsby player.

Here's one for our older members. What was strange about the 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City in the 1961/62 season. Tony Millington made his debut in this game. You would probably have to have been at this game to know the answer. It has happened in other games but I'm not sure if the Albion have been involved before or since.

Come on then Leicester what is it? I was a kid at the time and would see all home games but I know for certain that I missed that one. Nothing was ever said to me

Was it that Millington was in goal but had no number on his back?. I wasn't there, this is based on my Tony Matthews Complete Record which shows Albion players listed 2-11 but no number 1. The same in the next home game v Man Utd. First time Millington appears with a No1 is the next game v Cardiff. Either that or we didn't have a keeper.

I didn't think goalkeepers wore a number back then. Perhaps I am wrong. I do know that all wore green tops except for internationals when I think it was yellow.
